The international dressage results are divided in three Grand Prix tests: Grand Prix de Dressage, Grand Prix Special and Grand Prix Freestyle. The international shows are distinguished by the FEI into degrees: CDI1*, CDI2* and CDI3*, corresponding to the number of nationalities. The abbrevation CDIO does means that there's a nationsteam competion at that event. Nations can only organise one CDIO a year.
