Werndl young winner

The judges of the Freestyle did not agree on the winners, but in the end the youngest competitor Benjamin Werndl and Sam did win the Freestyle class, being a qualifier for the Kampmann Cup. It was the first time that the Freestyle class was held at premium time on Sunday. Organiser Dr Kaspar Funke was very happy with the enthusiastic reactions of the audience and promised this will be the schedule for next year Euroclassics as well. The total amount of visitors for the Euroclassics show was about 20.000.

Very special Germany-Holland father and daughter Pas-de-deux at DVB

Dressuurstal Van Baalen DVB, the dressage stables of the Van Baalen family Coby and daughter Marlies, organised some very special show evenings for their clients, friends and sponsors the last days of September. The amount of international medal winners being trained and prepared at the Van Baalen stables is amazing. Pupils of the Van Baalen stables were part of the silver winning Dutch team at the EC ponies in Saumur, of the gold winning Dutch team at the EC Juniors in Stadl Paura and of the silver winning YR-team at the EC in Stadl Paura. A wonderful surprise in the shows was the very special pas-de-deux of KWPN-approved stallion BMC Inspekteur, bred by the late father of Coby van Baalen Jan Dorresteijn, together with his daughter Mitchell, bred by Coby’s sister Marjan Dorresteijn. BMC Inspekteur was part of the gold winning team of the Juniors in Stadl Paura and showed by niece Marrigje van Baalen. Mitchell was part of the silver winning German team in Stadl Paura and was showed by Verena van der Linde. A wonderful reunion of a very special family-pair!
