FACTS
-
German breeder Wilhelm Rethorst is an extremely succesfull man! He saw two of
his breeding-products out of his mare Lieselotte (sired by Lungau) compete at
the Olympics in Athens and now the story will be repeated in Las Vegas. The
winner of the Festival of the Horse in Burbank and winner of the finals in 2003
American Debbie Mc Donald will show the mare Brentina (Brentano II from
Lieselotte by Lungau), Dutch Sven Rothenberger will compete with full brother
Barclay II.
- The European competitors of the dressage and showjumping
finals have resisted the flight-offer of the organisation in Las Vegas? They
want to fly immediately with no landings in between and like more space for
their precious horses with the maximum of two instead of three horses in one
flight cabin
- Unfortunately no Australian representatives will take part
at the World Cup Finals in Las Vegas this edition
- About the wildcard
for the hosting country the USA and the two resting wildcards to bring the total
of participants to 18, the FEI will decide European time today in a meeting at
16.00 hours
