Dressage at Devon

Dressage is the hottest, fastest growing equestrian discipline in the USA today. The 31st annual Dressage at Devon Horse Show in Devon, Pennsylvania, brought top competitors, horses, trainers and judges from across the continent and around the globe together for one of the highest-rated international dressage competitions and the most complete breed show outside of Europe. Starting on last Tuesday with breeding shows and lasting till last Sunday with the international dressage competitions, the show was a complete dressage festival, hosting also the American Junior Riders Championships.

Third rider for FBW Kennedy

The 16 year old Baden-Wurttember-bred gelding FBW Kennedy (Tiro x Karat) was competing in two Olympics by two different riders. In Sydney 2000 the example of workwillingness was competed by Lone Jörgensen (Denmark) and in Athens 2004 by Robert Dover (USA). After his last performance ridden by Robert Dover in the Worldcup final 2005 in Las Vegas, Katherine Bateson (30) got a chance to ride FBW Kennedy. Trained by six times Olympian Robert Dover, Kennedy and his new rider are in for a new adventure. With the second place and a score of 71,04% in the Grand Prix Special at Devon, this new pair has a promising future ahead.
