USEF Hurricane Equine Relief Fund
(Lexington, KY)
The United States Equestrian Federation has
established the Hurricane Equine Relief Fund to assist those agencies working
directly with the equine victims and refugees from Hurricane Katrina. The money
will be used to support efforts to deliver food, veterinary services, and
shelter for horses and ponies in the hurricane stricken areas. All donations are
tax deductible, and gifts of any size are appreciated. Donations can be made
online at www.usef.org, click on
the Hurricane Katrina area on the right side of the homepage.

Support Red Cross for help Hurricane by Langer Equestrian Group
Langer Equestrian Group, Inc. decided to participate in helping by
making a donation to the American Red Cross on behalf of its three current and
upcoming horse shows. The shows are Gold Coast 6 in Burbank, CA on September
1-4, Woodside Back-to-School Classic in Woodside, CA on September 2-5, and the
High Prairie Fall Preview in Parker, CO on September 8-11. “At each show,”
explained CEO Larry Langer, “we are donating $5.00 for every horse entered in
the show. Many of our exhibitors are matching and even exceeding that donation.”

Clinic Conrad Schumacher
Cañon Ridge Farms, Castle Rock, CO, has just scheduled a clinic with
world-renowned coach and trainer, Conrad Schumacher for October 7-9, 2005.
Schumacher is famous for his limitless exercises that result in immediate
improvements for horse and rider as well as his ability to get the best out of
his students. “We really want to make this clinic available to everyone,”
said Deborah Cranston, owner of Cañon Ridge Farms. “At just $15 per day, this is
a very affordable way to increase your dressage education exponentially.”
