FACTS
- Isabell Werth and Antony won thanks to a freestyle with a high degree of difficulties, the enthusiasm of the public and lack of any mistake. In their last line, Werth and Antony made a turn in piaffe with one hand! With the other hand, Werth was waving to the public in the rhythm of the applause. The judges were certainly impressed, putting Antony into the lead
- Andreas Helgstrand had some trouble with his Blue Hors Cavan yesterday in Grand Prix. The gelding wasn’t very motivated to do his work and didn’t show much impulsion. In today’s freestyle, Helgstrand started unusual with severely pushing his Cavan to motivate the horse. After that correction, Cavan really made the difference and showed the best of his dressage qualities
- The Swedish stallion Briar as always impressed by his wonderful piaffe and passage and this ‘happy athlete’ ridden by Jan Brink showed why he never finishes last
- Gribaldi really improved himself after GP. Edward Gal’s black stallion was very scared by the public yesterday. Today, the music gave him some extra impulsion and he did show his best qualities. The next appearance of Gribaldi will be on the stallion show in Zwolle, the Netherlands. Edward Gal will show his number one horse Lingh in the next World Cup qualifier at Indoor Brabant
